How You Can Support Us

There are several ways in which you can help us. Of course, you don’t have to be directly affected by osteoporosis to get involved.

Ways you can help – some ideas

You can:

  • help at events, doing things such as selling raffle tickets, holding a collecting box, baking cakes, and more;
  • help us organise events and transport for our members;
  • suggest more fund-raising ideas;
  • become a member of our local group — see the details below explaining how;
  • join the NOS — for details about membership packages and benefits, visit the NOS Membership Page;
  • make a donation to the NOS — this can be done safely and securely online at the NOS website;
  • tell your friends and anyone you know who is affected by the disease about us;
  • help with publicity;
  • become a committee member — we’d really like some more!

Hopefully this has given you a few ideas. Please contact the Secretary, Edith Finbow, for further information or to pass on any ideas of your own.

Becoming a Member of the King’s Lynn Group

Pages from our quarterly newsletter

Annual membership of our local group costs £10.00 per person. As a member, you will receive updated osteoporosis information as soon as we can get it to you, all four issues of the quarterly Newsletter, free entry to our meetings (otherwise £1.50 per time) and will be part of a friendly, growing local group. The greater our membership, the more credible we are as an organisation when lobbying planners for better local services.

By simply becoming a member you make a difference.

To join the King’s Lynn Group, please send your name and address, along with a cheque for £10.00 payable to NOS, and send them together to:

Mrs Margaret Worledge
Membership Secretary, NOS King’s Lynn
25 Friars Street
South Wootton,
King’s Lynn

Norfolk
PE30 5AW

Alternatively, you can be an Associate Member, by paying £1.50 each time you attend one of our regular meetings.
